Install the XviD Codec Instructions:
I don't know wich Codecs you have installed, but
to get this
right we need a XviD Version called "NICS XVID".
We all know that Codecs are very difficult to
install. Do like
this and you will be sure that you installed it
the right way.
1. Uninstall all
your Codecs and
Codec Packs.
2. Restart your Computer.
3. Download and install NICS XviD.
4. Restart the Computer again.
Things to Setup and know before we start
making AVI Files:
- Graphic Card Options:
-
Image Quality - Best possible
-
Antialasing Settings- Best possible
-
Anisotropic Filtering - Best possible
- Use MovieMakers.Nu's CS
InGame Config
- Use Startmovie 90
on all Demos in Counter-Strike
- In VideoMach, add
the *.bmp Files. Type in a Filename
and render wich uncompressed.
Vegas Video - The final Rendering:
Edit your Project and when you happy. Click File
and render and you will get this Window below:

Click render, select AVI and XviD. You
won't have a Template called XviD like in the Picture above!
You must
continue the Guide and save your Settings and make
a Template called XviD!

Click custom on the first Picture.
Type in a Template name and click
the "save" icon to the right.
Select "Best" Quality.

Click Video on the second Picture
and you will these Settings. Do like on
the Picture.

2. Install the Radium Mp3 Codec. Just press next under the Installation. Restart your Computer.
3. Now place the VirtualDub folder where you want it. You don't have to install anything. Just click the VirtualDub.exe to start the Program.
4. Press "File -> Open Video File". Select your *.avi File and press open.
5. Press "Video -> Direct Stream Copy".
6. Press "Audio -> Full Processing Mode".
7. Press "Audio -> Compression".
8. Now you have some Options wich Codecs.
Select the
"Mpeg 3-Layer" Codec to the left. Bitrates will
appear to
the right. Choose "128kBit/s, 44,100 Hz Stereo".
If this don't work, select "128kBit/s, 48,100 Hz Stereo".
Press
"ok".
9. Press "File -> Save as AVI".
Select a new name for
your Movie and press save. Now a Process starts
and after
it finished you got a new *.avi File with same
Movie, but the Filesize is different. ;)
